Overview
A swipe file for people who already do the work and stall on the ask. Every line is meant to be sent, not admired. Swap the brackets, keep the spine, go do the job.
Who it's for
Freelancers and independent operators who can deliver but go quiet when it's time to price the next thing.
You get
- • 12 send-now messages (email + DM)
- • A three-step follow-up that ends
- • A reply script for 'send more info'
The rule
If a sentence does not move the other person toward a yes, a no, or a date, cut it. Warmth is optional. Clarity is the product. You are not applying to be liked.
First ask
"I can take [job] for [price], start [day]. If that's useful I'll send a one-page outline today. If not, no need to reply." That is the whole email. The outline is the close, not a discovery call.
Follow-up ladder
Day 2: "Still good to send the outline if you want it." Day 5: "Closing the loop — I'll assume it's a no unless I hear otherwise." Then stop. A fourth ping trains people to ignore you.
When they go vague
"Happy to. To keep it useful I need [constraint], [deadline], and [who signs]. If those aren't set yet, let's talk when they are." Vague briefs are unpaid research. Name the missing pieces and wait.
How to use this
Pick one live lead. Send the first ask before noon. Do not edit for 'voice.' Export this as a PDF, list it on Gumroad, and paste the listing copy as-is.
