If it isn't written, it isn't a decision

A thought you keep having is not a call. The protocol is four lines: context, options, the pick, the review date. If you cannot fill those, you are not ready. That is useful information. Wait or cut scope. Do not 'keep thinking.'

Twelve templates

Hire, fire the idea, raise the price, ship ugly, wait 14 days, take the client, drop the client, buy the tool, kill the tool, say no, say not now, change the offer. Each one is a page with brackets. Fill them. Date it. Stop reopening.

The review date is the product

Every log has a date you are allowed to revisit. Before that date, the decision stands. After it, you write a new log, you do not edit the old one. History is the point.

Weekly, not a second brain

Once a week, read the open logs. Close the ones whose date has passed. Do not build a system around this. A folder of dated pages is the system.
